Book Your Trial Lesson

Trial lesson:

The trial lesson is designed to determine your child's level and their musical goals. Once this is established, we will communicate and tailor a lesson plan suitable for your child to succeed.

Beginner 

Pre-Preliminary

​

This Beginner's course will best develop your child's musical interest & creativity as well as set a strong foundation for their upcoming musical career.

Intermediate 

Preliminary to Grade 3

​

Intermediate lessons will incorporate more advanced technical finger work exercises, complex rhythm, and further development of their Aural skills (Ear training); equipping your child with all the essential musical skills.

Advanced

Grade 3 + 

​

Advanced Lessons are designed to develop your individual musical character and expressiveness. Here we are  mastering techniques in all musical aspects.

What to expect in a Typical Lesson?

See the different lesson types available below -

Musical instruments

Lesson Structure

1. Sight Reading 

  • Rhythm & Co-ordination (Drumming & Clapping Exercises)

  • Learning to read notes efficiently through fun games and activities 

2. Piano Techniques

  • Learning new pieces every week!

  • Progressively refining Examination pieces with emphasis on:

    • Finger Techniques

    • Expressive Techniques 

    • Music Terminology & Theory

    • Performance skills

  • Scales & Finger Exercises​

3. Aural (Ear Training) & Singing

  • To develop the ability to identify notes / chords

  • Build confidence in singing in pitch
