ME

Throughout her musical journey, Crystal has won various prizes at local competitions, performed at school events, and small home-held concerts. Crystal has always been keen on music as a community and was involved in her school choir and concert band. She started to explored other instruments like the clarinet and violin in high school to experience performing as an ensemble. As HSC drew closer, Crystal began to focus on her academic results; which included piano and music theory for Music 2 and Extension Music.

Crystal has always been passionate about working with children and has plentiful experience working with a multifaceted range of students. She worked at numerous tutoring centres such as Kumon, Mr. Chan’s Tutoring Centre, Horizon Music Academy and also teaches privately for tutoring English, Maths and Piano. She is currently taking care of over 20 piano students; showcasing promising AMEB Examinations results (A/A+).  Her love for teaching in turn inspires her students to have a musical passion, confidence and developing perseverance.

Beyond music, Crystal has completed her Bachelor of Science; Double Majoring in Nutrition and Pharmacology in 2021. She is now undertaking her Masters in Nutrition and Dietitian; and expected to graduate in 2023.  Her care for one’s health is communicated through her teaching method which aims at supporting student's to learn through self-motivation, independence and emotional growth.
